At TheFamilyHistoryStore.com we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchasesimply return the item or items within 30 DAYS of receipt of your order (delivery confirmation date) for an exchange or full refund of the original purchase price (excluding shipping & handling charges). Please include a copy of your invoice when returning merchandise. You can return your purchase by mail to the address listed below. Once we receive the item(s) back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the shipping charges. No price adjustments will be issued for non-satisfactory purchases. If you are not satisfied with a product you must return the merchandise for refund within the standard time frame allotted. There are no exceptions to this policy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:ALL SOFTWARE, CD ROM, DVD ROM and books with CD ROM or DV ROMs included may not be returned for cash credit. If you purchase software, CD ROM, DVD ROMs or books with CD ROM or DVD ROMs you may exchange the item for the identical item only. This policy includes the various clip-art books that include a CD ROM. Custom orders are non-refundable unless their is a defect in the materials or workmanship.
SPECIAL NOTICE FOR ALL FRAME ORDERS! Frames and framing products such as backing and glass are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship. All returns on framing orders must be filed within 10 days of receipt. Custom glass orders require that you send in a template of the frame opening for which you are ordering glass.
Cancellation Policy Here at TheFamilyHistoryStore.com, we strive to ship all orders in the fastest time frame possible. We cannot guarantee that we can cancel your order once it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to cancel your order if possible. If your order has already shipped please see our return policy.
Refusal of Delivery If a package is refused for delivery, the customer will be responsible for shipping charges and once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the shipping charges. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged for shipping under a free shipping promotion. This policy is in place to defray unnecessary shipping costs and allows us to offer the lowest prices possible. This policy does not apply to packages that appear to be damaged in shipping.
Incorrect Shipping Address Provided Packages that are returned or shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to addtional shipping charges. Orders that are later cancelled due to an incorrect address provided by the customer are also subject to shipping charges. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the shipping charges. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged for shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be shipped again will be subject to additional shipping charges.
