A lot of Quilters also do other handwork, and some Quilt Shops carry needlework supplies. This design works together with #26, "The Needleworkers", which has twelve small 9" blocks of ladies doing various needlework, such as knitting, crochet, cross stitch, etc. I hope you like our interpretation of "The Needle Shop".
About Redwork:Redwork is a simple form of embroidery from the 1800s using a simple linear style of embroidery done with red floss. Patterns are usually created from simple line drawings of family and home themes or special events.
